Amsterdam, 30 July 2025: Pink Elephant Netherlands, a leading provider of modern workplace, cloud infrastructure and AI solutions, with operations in the Netherlands and Germany, has appointed Thomas Blankvoort as Chief Executive Officer. His appointment marks a strategic step as the company increases its focus on helping organisations modernise how they work: securely, intelligently and at scale.
Thomas joined Pink Elephant Netherlands in April 2025 as Chief Operating Officer and has already brought a new vision, initiatives to offer even more compelling customer service, as well as launched investments to harness technology and AI to scale the business. Drawing on leadership experience at Bain, Webhelp and Aexus, he has helped sharpen priorities, align teams and strengthen Pink Elephant’s foundation for sustainable growth.
“Thomas steps into the CEO role at a pivotal moment,” said Jean-Yves Charlier, CEO of The Digital Neighborhood. “Modern work and the impact of AI are evolving rapidly, and Pink Elephant is well placed to lead the shift by combining workplace technology, cybersecurity and AI into a scalable, secure proposition. Thomas’s leadership brings a rare mix of strategic clarity, customer centricity and operational discipline, which will be critical as we grow the business, deepen customer relationships and strengthen our position in the Netherlands and Germany.”
Organisations across Europe are fundamentally rethinking how work gets done. Employees expect more flexibility, customers expect faster responses, and leadership teams are under pressure to deliver results at greater speed. According to Gartner, by 2027, 30 per cent of all knowledge worker tasks will be automated or augmented by generative AI, reshaping the fabric of daily work. Meanwhile, hybrid models combining in-office and remote work are now mainstream, and businesses need to harness this new reality.
Pink Elephant’s portfolio includes workplace solutions such as Pink365, Microsoft Copilot adoption services, DMaaS data resilience, SOC-led cybersecurity, and hardware and device lifecycle support. This breadth allows the company to address the full spectrum of modern workplace needs, from productivity and AI integration to infrastructure security and business continuity.
“The modern workplace is where it all comes together – productivity, security and user experience. Customers want solutions that work, not just good intentions. That means finding partners who can turn real needs into meaningful change and results. We have both the opportunity and the responsibility to shape workspaces that are secure, smart and ready for what comes next. I am proud to build on the strong foundations already in place and grateful for the trust of the Digital Neighborhood management board and my colleagues,” said Thomas Blankvoort.
Ends.
